I began locksmithing at 17, right out of school. I watched a real locksmith at work and saw what the trade actually was: honest work, helping people in tough spots, and doing the job right. I was hooked.
My parents came to Alberta looking for opportunity, and Fort McMurray became home. That is the story for so many people here — families from across Canada and around the world who came to work hard and build something better.
Fifteen years ago, my partner came here from the Philippines, chasing the same opportunity that brought so many people to Fort McMurray. She’s been a big source of support in my life ever since.
Fort McMurray Locksmith is not a big company. I do the work, the planning, and even this website. My son works with me full-time, my daughter helps on Saturdays, and they are learning what it means to show up for people. We also have good people on staff who came here for the same reason so many others did: to build a better life.
